We are seeking a Leasing Manager to join our Client’s team. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Vice President of Leasing. Our

  • You will be responsible for leasing and analyzing a portfolio of commercial properties in the Toronto Area
  • Strategize renewals and new deals with VP
  • Perform leasing calculations and maintain internal database
  • Negotiate and draft offer to leases and facilitate renewals,, amending agreements, subleases and qualifying credit worthiness
  • Develop relationships with tenants, prospective tenants and brokers
  • Create and implement strategies to lease vacant spaces
  • Develop strong understanding and knowledge of applicable markets
  • Ensure documents executed in a timely manner
  • Ensure negotiated terms and conditions carried out
  • Be involved in the budget and reforecast process
  • Understand credit of new and renewing tenants
  • Role will involve travel to meet with tenants and visit the properties
  • Prepare reporting packages both monthly and quarterly to clients by discussing leasing activity, lease expiration analysis and major
    tenant summaries
  • Prepare bi-monthly leasing reports for regular internal meetings
  • As required, complete financial modeling analysis and acquisition due diligence
  • Other duties may be assigned
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a Commercial Real Estate environment
  • An independent and self-motivated worker with a strong prioritization mindset committed to meeting deadlines and getting things done
    in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and team oriented
  • Excel in a fast paced, dynamic environment and enjoy new challenges
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work well under pressure, highly motivated to achieve results
  • Licensed real estate salesperson a requirement
  • Bright and analytical, able to solve problems and make decisions using logical processes
  • Reliable and punctual with excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
