We are seeking a Marketing Manager to join our Client’s team. In this role you will be reporting directly to the Executive Team.  Our Client is one of Canada’s top Real Estate and Property Management Firms. Salary range for this position is $60,000–$100,000 plus bonus, based on level of industry exposure.  Our Client is an advocate for diversity and recognizes the value of leadership.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop competitive, strategic and tactical marketing and communications plans for the company at the corporate level , ensuring appropriate input from internal leads is included on a national level
  • Create, implement and manage marketing and communications activities designed to generate positive and increased brand awareness on a national level
  • Effectively lead the development of key communication materials including but not limited to press releases, annual reports, corporate collateral, investment sales materials, online and print advertisements; Lead the development of compelling content and messaging for all materials
  • Manage all internal and external stakeholders that play a role in delivering marketing/communications materials and share best practices
  • Manage timelines and budgets for projects
  • Partner, lead and mentor internal clients, teams and colleagues to define business needs and objectives, crafting appropriate communication strategies and identifying appropriate marketing tactics to achieve department/business goals in support of marketing strategy
  • Identify communication opportunities to develop a consistent message/image and execute them in a timely manner with relevant solutions and approaches
  • Act as custodian and champion of company’s brand, ensuring consistent messaging across all lines of the business
  • Ensure all content across the corporate website and all forms of media is compelling, accurate and up-to-date and make recommendations for corrections as required
  • Coordinate media relations outreach activities including preparation and editing of media material such as press releases, speeches, and presentations; Collect and provide analysis of media coverage as appropriate
  • Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related discipline
  • 5-8 years + of professional experience within a corporate environment dealing with multiple internal clients in the context of product promotion, marketing communication, and financial writing experience, ideally in the Investment and Banking industry is preferred. Experience in Real Estate is an asset but not required
  • 2 or more years of solid experience managing a team, with exceptional interpersonal skills and strong team orientation
  • Proven success with developing written collateral, presentations, and annual reports with an up to date knowledge of design methodologies and B2B marketing trends, tools and technology
  • Superior client service skills and professional demeanor, coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated high degree of integrity, diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality
  • Ability to effectively listen, understand and respond appropriately
  • Self-motivated, proactive and goal/results driven approach to work
  • Ability to work and act independently using good judgment when assessing difficult situations; Proven ability to work well in a team environment with the ability to build relationships at all levels
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in high pressure situations and work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional proofreading and editing skills for grammar, style, and content accuracy
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, etc.) would be an asset
  • Bilingual (French/ English), oral and written is an asset
