We are seeking a Project Manager, Construction and Development to join our Client’s team. In this role you will be reporting directly to
Senior Executives.  Our Client is one of Canada’s top Real Estate and Development Firms. Competitive benefits, flexible hours and

career development. Salary range for this position is $80,000–$120,000 based on level of industry exposure.  Our Client is an advocate

  • Interface directly with clients to define project requirements
  • Prepare scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimate & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality
    control, and risk identification
  • Identify project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through individual project qualification process
  • Conduct standard request for proposals, completes bid analysis and recommends resources to clients
  • Lead project delivery resources/team providing project guidance and direction to achieve project goals, facilitates project meetings
  • Implement communication plan for meetings and written reports/meeting minutes to keep client and project resources informed
  • Implement project documentation governance aligned with company and Client requirements
  • Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely and coordinated
  • Tracks progress of each project against goals, objectives, approved budgets, approved timelines; reports status and variances
  • Implement change management routines to assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue
    change orders
  • Demonstrates ability to identify project risks, develop risk mitigation and contingency plans, and implement action plans to reduce
    or eliminate project risks
  • Other duties or projects as assigned from time to time
  • Four years of experience in the construction industry, including experience as a construction supervisor or field superintendent
  • A university degree in civil engineering or a college diploma in construction technology
  • Master’s degree in project management would be an asset
  • Additional designation and/or certification would be an asset
  • PMP certification would be an asset
  • Good understanding of leases and recoveries
  • Advanced analytical and quantitative skills
  • Well organized, flexible and ability to multi-task
  • Prior experiences managing large commercial/industrial projects from start to end
  • Stellar communication, planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt with strong client focus background
